Dear Friends, Today, the World around us is in a state of crisis. How can you and I together Be the Change the World Needs Now? I have been asking myself this question and doing research into finding and learning about New & Exciting Alternatives to the Status Quo. I am sharing these here with you. The reality is that things are constantly changing in life - even if humans are hard-wired genetically to not like change, change is coming anyway. Life is all about change. And the sooner we learn to adjust and cope with it, the better we will be able to adjust to changes. Today, our lifestyle of Greedy Consumerism, Insatiable Materialism and a Wreckless, Selfish, Ego-Driven Disease Rampant in America - Everywhere You Look and Being taught in homes and schools by ADULTS as acceptable behavior is: 1. "It is NOT my Responsibility" And 2. "Why Should I Care" is doing Great HARM to our relationships with each other, our children, our way of life, the way the rest of the world sees us (we are on the same planet... hello?) and is killing our animals, destroying our environment and resources. This Attitude and Behavior Comes Back Full Circle to Us and is Destroying Ourselves and Our Planet -- Hurting our very Core Being and Existence. Many individuals like myself once thought that we can do nothing about it - but that is the furthest from the truth. The truth of the matter is that we as individuals and collectively as a whole CAN take DAILY ACTION to change the course of the world. Especially as RESPONSIBILE ADULTS! We can TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND SAY "I DO CARE BECAUSE EVERYONE- INCLUDING ME- DOES HAVE AN INTEREST IN OUR FUTURE AS A PEOPLE & PLANET. WE CAN BE THE CHANGE." Whether that is Discovering new fuels, Learning then taking action to use alternative energies - like wind power, solar power or others, or Inventing something new that would help our environment or even Becoming the Media Yourself by starting your own website or local radio show, Filming an Otherwise-would-be Untold Story and turning it into a Documentary, or Creating music that has a conscious message, or Starting your own newsletter, or Starting your own grass-roots group in your local community working for change, or in a simple way - Make a decision of Conscience to buy a product from a small, independent business owner, TOGETHER WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD. The change begins with you and me individually realizing the Opportunities that are Abundant during these times of crisis. This is NOT the time for feeling helpless or for quitting before you even start to give yourself a chance. This is certainly not the time to sit idly by and watch the opportunities going right by you. If we don't like something, we go right around it - no time for getting upset or depressed! There is much work to do, much opportunity and abundance and no matter how dark the world may seem, you just may be the hope and light that someone else really needs right now.
